"I don't know what's best about camp, it's all fun! It is by far the best week of the summer!" - Joey, 9 years old “The boys really like camp, they keep wanting to come
back year after year. We love the traditions...ghost stories at the camp
fire, swimming
in Elkhorn, As a former camper, I love the fact that my sons are telling
me about the same stories and activities that I did myself. The boys love
it so
much, many of their friends go to camp too.” “Camp St. john is a really great camp. The counselors are always really cool guys, they always make camp a lot of fun. My favorite part of camp is probably Warball, it’s a great game that really brings all the campers together. Olympic Day is also a great event, everyone always enjoys it. Me and my friends love Camp, our whole summers practically revolve around planning when we are going to camp. Camp has been a great experience and I am sad that this is will be my last year.” - Jacob, 14 years old “My son’s camp experience at Camp has been wonderful. He has gone every year since he was 7 years old, only missing one year because of major surgery. That says a lot right there when there are so many camps to choose from. Come spring time, the first thing he starts to do is see which week he can go to Camp. He loves it so much he has gotten several of his good friends to go with him. He really enjoy staying overnight for the whole week. Every year when we take him out to Camp the counselors running the camp are the nicest, well mannered young men you will ever meet, the fact that they are college-aged really enables them to connect with the campers.” - Camp Mount Michael Parent
