Preparations Nearly Complete for Start of School
Summer vacation is almost over! The freshmen arrive on Thursday evening August 13 for a day of orientation. The annual Booster Club All School Picnic will be the following Sunday and classes begin Monday August 17th!

Since the end of Camp Saint John the end of July, the maintenance and custodial staff have been working furiously to get the the building clean and ready.

The changes have been extensive this summer. Starting from the top floor you will find new carpet in the hallway of the multi-man rooms. On the classroom floor, The classrooms have been painted and had new white boards and smart boards installed. The hallway has been painted in the school colors. The computer lab has been painted and has new carpet and a new layout.

On the bottom floor The dining room has been renovated by the booster club. It really looks sharp! It is painted in the school colors and has some great graphics on the walls. It also has a new acoustical ceiling that hides the air conditioning duct work. The faculty dining room has a smart board now and will be used as an additional classroom. The faculty mail room has had some dining tables setup. The monks and faculty will now go through the regular lunch line with the students to get their meals. The old drafting room has been renovated into a regular classroom and the band room has had extensive work so that it will serve both drafting classes and band/choir.

Another big change has to do with offices. The school president's office is now located where Mrs. Raabe's office was. Mrs. Raabe moved to the room next door where the finance offices were located. The finance office is now in Abbot Raphael's old office.

The Bell Tower continues to slowly grow. It is now about 1/2 up.

There are other changes also. You will just have to discover them when you arrive on campus!
