Testing
Testing is an important component of measuring educational growth and gaining entry to post-secondary institutions. Each student is an individual, and the school counseling programs strives to support each student as such.
Mount Michael’s Testing Program includes:
9th Grade: PSAT 8/9
10th Grade: PSAT
11th Grade: PSAT/NMSQT
12th Grade: ACT and/or SAT
PSAT 8/9 and PSAT/NMSQT
These tests are given to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors on the national test date in October. This is especially important for juniors because their performance on this test qualifies them for National Merit Scholarship consideration.
