Knights Place 3rd in History Academic Bowl

On Saturday April 27th, 11 juniors participated in the 7th annual AP United States History Academic Bowl at UNO. 9 students won medals

Tharein Potuhera medaled for finishing in the top ten of the multiple-choice section and won a silver medal for long essay writing

Mason Matukewicz won a silver medal for long essay writing

Brayden Whitaker medaled for finishing in the top ten of the multiple-choice section and won a silver medal for DBQ writing

Peyton Rosenfels won a silver medal for short essay writing

Jerry Fan won a bronze medal for short essay writing

Seth Carpenter won a bronze medal for short essay writing

Henry Storbeck won a gold medal for short essay writing

Andree Kakish medaled for finishing in the top ten of the multiple-choice section

The team of Tharien Potuhera, Alex Schrier, Mason Matukewicz, Brayden Whitaker, Peyton Rosenfels and Jerry Fan also medaled for finishing in 3rd place in the overall team competition
