Deans turn to working as lumberjacks during the Covid shutdown.

With all the students attending their classes online from home, the deans are working hard under the leadership of the Mount Michael facilities department.  Currently they are working as lumberjacks. Mr. Jim Lewis was planning on slowly removing the ash trees from campus because the Emerald Ash Borer has been reported within 2 miles of the Mount. The Emerald Ash Borer is working its way across the nation wiping out ash trees.

With all the students gone and the deans needing something to do for the remainder of the school year a ready work force is available to move numerous grounds projects along this spring.  Students might think of it as a mega-in-school suspension.  It is actually a very healthy way to spend their time.  Hard work and fresh air are good for the body, mind, and soul.

It is recommend that students check with parents before cutting trees down around the house.  I’m sure there are many healthy activities to do in the yard though as spring continues to progress.
