Covid-19 Game Day Protocols

Athletic Director – Derrik Spooner

All,
I want to update everyone on the home game management the River Cities Conference has put into place. Here at Mount Michael we will follow these guidelines for ALL home events for the foreseeable future. Please note that these guidelines may change, and we will update you with any new information that we have. The guidelines below will be followed for all home events for Mount Michael Football, XC, and Tennis. If you have any questions on this, please send me an email.

STREAMING:

Thanks to the booster club and generous alumni donations we have purchased “Striv” which gives us the ability to stream home events on campus. The link below will take you to the Mount Michael Striv home page. Please note- not all home games will be streamed but we will get as many as we possibly can.

TICKETS:

VARSITY FOOTBALL: Based on the coaches’ roster for each event, each family will be allowed parents/guardians/siblings only. We will need to know who is attending the game for tracing purposes. A few days before each event we will send out a Sign-up genius. Please list all family members that will be attending the event. We will have this list at the gate and will only allow the names on the sheet to enter.

For varsity football games the price to attend is $6 Adults $4 Students. For Reserve football games the price to attend is $3 Adults and $2 Students. PLEASE BRING EXACT CHANGE.

RESERVE FOOTBALL: Fan attendance will be limited to immediate family members of the players.  Immediate family is defined as household members (parents/guardians/siblings).

TENNIS: Fan attendance will be limited to immediate family members of the players.  Immediate family is defined as household members (parents/guardians/siblings).

XC-More info to come

SEATING:

FOOTBALL
Our bleachers will be split into two sides for HOME AND VISITOR. The visitor side will be the WEST side of the bleachers and the HOME side will be the EAST side on the bleachers. Please do not mix sides when seating in the bleachers and social distance when you find your place to sit. PLEASE SIT WITH FAMILIES.

We are also encouraging families to bring lawn chairs/blankets to be able to spread out around the field to watch the games. No one will be allowed on the side of the field near the press box.

Concession stand will NOT be available. No grouping. This includes in the bleachers and parking lot before or after games.

TENNIS

We are asking all families to bring lawn chairs/blankets and socially distance themselves around the tennis courts.

Concession stand will NOT be available. No grouping. This includes in the bleachers and parking lot before or after games.

XC (RCC Meet)

Details will be sent out as the date approaches

Concession stand will NOT be available. No grouping. This includes in the bleachers and parking lot before or after games.

Again, this is unfortunate that we need to modify home events but our goal is to give our athletes the best opportunity to finish their season. We are also hoping a well ran Fall season leads to the same for Winter and Spring. Any questions please feel free to reach out through email.
