Becoming a Mount Michael Knight starts with scheduling a visit to experience our community firsthand, followed by completing the application and entrance exam. Our admissions team is here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring your family feels welcomed and supported throughout the process.

As the Director of Enrollment at Mount Michael, my goal is to make the admissions process simple and supportive for every family. From your first visit to completing the application and entrance exam, I’ll be here to guide you through each step and ensure that you feel welcomed, informed, and confident as you explore what it means to become a Knight.
APPLICATION PROCESS
1. Attend a Shadow Day at Mount Michael.

2. Complete an application for admission and pay the application fee. Applications received before January 9, 2026 are eligible to have the application fee waived.

3. Take the entrance exam on January 10th, 2026. Only students who take the entrance exam at Mount Michael on this date are eligible for academic merit scholarships. If you do not take the entrance exam in January, you will take one once other application materials are received.

4. If a student is in need of financial assistance, they will indicate that on the Student Financial Agreement that is sent, following admittance, and complete the necessary documentation to be reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee.

Seventh and Eighth grade students may schedule a half day and full day at Mount Michael. Overnight visits are also available so prospective students can get the full experience of what being a boarding student at Mount Michael is like. To arrange a visit, please fill out this form.

Meet the faculty and student representatives at the Open House. Learn more about Mount Michael’s academic programs and dorm life. Application packages will be available at the Open House. If you miss the Open House, please request an application package by phone or e-mail and it will be mailed to you.

October 2025 – February 2026
Complete admissions application and financial aid application. It is not necessary to wait for the entrance exam before submitting the admissions application. Early applications are encouraged!
November 2025 – January 2026
Each applicant must complete an interview with a representative from the Mount Michael Board of Admissions.
January 2026
Students who have completed the application, interview and entrance exam at Mount Michael will be considered for acceptance in January.
February 20th, 2025
Students with a complete application, interview, and entrance exam at Mount Michael will be considered for acceptance on this date.
