Through the MSEP, public institutions agree to charge students no more than 150% of the in-state resident tuition rate for specific programs; private institutions offer a 10% reduction on their tuition rates. All enrollment decisions are made at the discretion of the receiving campus and the campus may exercise its right to limit participation or set specific admission requirements for MSEP. FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA)
Colleges and universities use the FAFSA to award financial aid and some scholarships. The FAFSA will be available online by December 31st, 2023, and utilizes prior-prior tax information, generally imported directly from your IRS Tax Transcript. Each family will need an FSA (Federal Student Aid) ID and each student will need their own also. You can sign up for an FSA ID at fsaid.ed.gov. You can then complete the FAFSA online at studentaid.ed.gov.
You can find information about the changes to the FAFSA at studentaid.gov/announcements-events/fafsa-support
