Brian Osborne Recognized
This year the Mount Michael Alumni Association has established the Alumni Association Appreciation Award.
This award will be given annually to a former faculty/staff member or a friend of the Mount Michael Alumni Association that has had a positive impact on current students and/or alumni.
This award symbolizes the alumni association’s appreciation for an individual’s commitment to the Mount Michael community and their dedication to both past and present students. Recipients of this award embody Mount Michael’s core values of community, hospitality, integrity, service, and moderation.
This year the Alumni Association presented Mr. Brian Osborne as the first recipient of the Alumni Association Appreciation Award. Mr. Osborne joined the Mount Michael community in 1979 and served for 24 years. He worked in various capacities, including science teacher, coach, athletic director, principal, and president. Attending the event with Mr. Osborne were his son, Nick, a 1997 Mount Michael graduate, his daughter Beth, and his three grandsons.
Presenting Mr. Osborne with his award was President of the Alumni Board, Eric Crawford.
