GET INVOLVED
There are many opportunities for students to get involved at Mount Michael. Some are competitive, some are participatory. In either case it is all part of getting a well rounded educational experience.
OUR GOAL
Participating in activities reinforces the Benedictine values of moderation and service.
Moderation calls for a balanced life, not being a one dimensional person. Moving beyond the classroom and athletic arena provides the rich experiences necessary for growth in confidence and maturity. Serving others allows us to grow beyond our own self interest by doing things for the benefit of others.
At Mount Michael 80% of the student body participates in two or more activities each year. Freshman are required to participate in a fall activity to help them get introduced to the community. This allows freshman to feel confident during the transition to high school and already have a network of friends during the first months of high school.
If you are interested in an activity that is not listed, please contact our Activities Director at dspooner@mountmichael.org to see how you could bring that activity to Mount Michael!
