Seniors: Medal of St. Benedict & Pork

The monastic community provided a favorite lunch for the seniors, featuring pulled pork and apple crisp— apples still from the abbey orchard. The Bell Tower lunch was enjoyed by all. Later in the afternoon, the seniors shared another meal with the monks — a Eucharistic one. The class of 2022 received their Benedictine medals. It is a type of culmination of their retreats, Monday morning chapel talks on Benedictine Values and generally Benedictine spirituality. Their photos witness how fondly they receive the medal and then examine it. Congratulations Men of Benedict — Class of 2022!
