Benedictine values encompass a broad range of concepts that are central to life within a Christian community. STUDENT COUNCIL
Student Council representatives play a vital role in collaborating with school officials to coordinate events and contribute valuable insights into school policies. Their involvement ensures that student voices are heard and that activities are aligned with the needs and interests of the student body.
student council
Being a member of the student council at Mount Michael Benedictine School is not just an honor; it offers invaluable opportunities for students to cultivate their leadership and teamwork skills. The council is composed of two elected officers from each class, alongside one or two student representatives and a student body president. Elections are held annually at the end of the school year, allowing students to voice their opinions and actively participate in shaping their school environment.
The student council plays a vital role in enhancing the school experience, using raised funds to support a wide range of student activities. These funds help to organize events like spirit weeks, community service projects, and extracurricular programs, ensuring that all students have opportunities to engage, connect, and thrive. By participating in the council, members not only represent their peers but also develop essential skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
