Journalists Qualify for State

Seven journalism students qualified to compete in state competition in Norfolk NE on Monday April 26. Articles written for our publications by Jack Sorensen ’21, Kyle Pelan ’21, Henry Hohman ’21, Luke Gutschewski ’21, Sawyer Thomson ’22 and Colin Eich ’22 were submitted on Mar 1. Pelan, and Sorensen qualified in two categories. The team of Landen Fogle ’22 and Thompson also qualified for two broadcasts and will find out how they placed during the virtual awards ceremony on April 30th. The staff of Mount Michael wishes them luck.
